顺序原因：一切围绕考分重点，即阅读和写作来投精力。完形填空作为时间的替补。
二、英文小作文通用要求和注意事项
1，格式规范：如作文标题，书信的开关及落款
2，书写整洁：阅卷规定，书写不清可以降低 1档（3分左右）
3，虎头豹尾：作文的开头、结尾都要用事先准备好的范句，不可出错。前三句即决定成绩。 4，避免明错：作文要用保险的方法，不要出明显差错，如时态，单复数，虚拟语气等。 备注：
1，老师阅卷是将试卷扫描成电子版，在电子版上阅卷，所以不能写出界，否则扫描不上 2，小作文和大作文可以有重复的句子出现。因小作文和大作文是不同老师流水线改卷。

一、阅读
(1)考研英语阅读特色鲜明：文章篇幅短、难度适中，但是题目难、混淆项多。即便是英语基础很好的人，也不一定能在考研阅读上拿高分。悟透这个道理之后，我们更需要把提高阅读理解正确率的关键放在真题上。
(2)阅读理解的出错原因一般有两种：读不懂文章，读懂了文章却做不对题目。读不懂文章的原因一般是长难句，因此，在"消化"的时候应该着重注意答案解析中对文章长难句的解析，这样，不仅可以提高理解文章的能力，也有助于学习长难句的句式，并运用在写作中。如果读懂了文章却做不对题目，就需要借助答案解析，修正自己与出题人思路不符的逻辑，在一次次的教训中逐渐揣摩出题人的思路。
二、翻译
(1)"信""达"无需"雅"
正统的翻译理论讲求"信、达、雅"。但是在考研英语中，要做到"信、达、雅"兼顾是一件非常不易的事。而且，从真题的分布中也可以觅得一些玄机。翻译部分是和阅读、新题型一起构成了第二大部分，而且翻译的是一篇文章中的几个句子。这意味着，考研英语对翻译的考查还是侧重于考查我们的阅读能力。此外，再综合考研真题的标准答案来看，翻译达到"信"和"达"即准确和通顺就足够了。
(2)侧重于主谓宾和短语
标准答案的评分标准非常细，都是按照关键点得分，1道2分的翻译一般是4个关键点，一个关键点0.5分。通过总结真题可以发现，句子中的主谓宾和稍微复杂的短语是关键词的"高发地段"，这些地方一定要清晰地翻译出来，万万不可含混。
(3)"达"--汉语思维
在达到"信"的要求之后，还会出现"信"而不能"达"的问题，明明每个词的意思都知道，但是合起来和答案还是相差甚远。汉语和英语的表达习惯存在着巨大的差异，把英语翻译成汉语，自然要转换这种表达，让中国人能看着舒服，即所谓"说人话"。
三、作文
(1)从范文找标杆
想写出好文章，就得先确立目标，树立标杆，明确什么样的文章才是好文章，而这个标杆就是真题范文。分析真题的范文，会发现高分范文有一些共同的特点：
三段式永远不会过时。
观点不一定十分新颖，但都很清晰、有理有据。
如果题目中提供了两个观点，高分作文一定是选择其一，并在文章一开始就表明自己的立场，而不是"两个观点都有道理""各打五十大板"。
连词不少，尤其是在段首和转折、强调、分点说明时。
没有通篇用长句，都是长短句相结合，有节奏感。
用词重复率很低，前后用不同的单词表达同一个意思。
(2)要"输出"，先"输入"
写作是英语能力的"输出"过程，要"输出"，先得有"输入"的积累。抓住一份真题的作文，从学习它的范文开始，依葫芦画瓢，把别人写的好的句子、短语，甚至开头结尾的方式、承上启下的句子、连词都标注下来，然后熟读、默写，再把范文合起来，自己完整地写一篇，不求和范文完全相同，也不怕和范文雷同。多积累几篇后，肚子里有点"货"了，以后再写别的题目也慢慢能找到感觉，写出自己的东西了。
(3)背单词不如背短语、句子
如果把写作当成盖房子，那么单词就是砖瓦。砖瓦不求多(词汇量大)，也不求奇形怪状(知道很多"高级"的生僻词汇)，只要够用就行，更重要的是要知道如何把这些砖拼成结实而漂亮的形状，而好的短语和句型就是已经拼好的、实用且形状漂亮的砖。
虽然很多作文辅导书上有分类整理的好句子，但更唾手可得的资源是真题的阅读文章和真题范文，在学习真题的时候可以从这两个来源中积累好句子，并把它们记在一个小笔记本，随身携带，没事儿就翻出来读一读。
连词就像文章的润滑剂，得体地使用连词可以让文章的水平大上一个台阶。一般学生除了firstly、secondly、lastly之外，对表示转折、递进等关系的连词(如however、despite、moreover等)并没有什么使用的意识。但是需要知道，连词性价比极高，真题高分范文中出现连词的数量有限，认真学习帮助会很大。
注意：真题文章可背诵
真题中的阅读理解是非常好的英语学习资料。做完真题后，需要对阅读理解的文章作精读，仔细查出文中生词、不太熟悉的短语句型，以及一些比较好用的短语句型，并作笔记。一方面可以提高英语能力，另一方面也可以下意识地积累写作用语。

一、要量化分数
确定自己应该能写到哪个档次的水平。做到心中有数。从大小作文来看，“稳拿”的分数究竟在哪一个档次，在此基础上，能力范围之内再做提升。如果基础相对比较弱的同学，不要一味地追求高，难的写作风格，一不留神容易出错，适得其反。其中，针对所有学生的建议就是：小作文要做到：“简单”，不要特别复杂的词与句;“正确”，尽量做到不要出现错误就好，词汇的正确性，语法结构的正确使用都是很重要的;“清晰”，针对性的做到题干要求的一定要写到，最好做到在句与句之间的层次，逻辑以及条理清晰。而对于大作文，除了做到上面要的几点之外，就要求大家尽量学习一些词汇和句式都相对高级点的来做替换，在大作文上面尽量体现自己的语言水准。
二、量化文章的字数
考研英语的写作是有字数要求的，一般小作文100字，大作文，英语一的要求是200字，英语二的要求是160左右。一般建议大家可多不可少，但是字数多的话也要适度，超出要求范围20个字左右可以接受，要考虑到万一写太多，一是错误出现的概率比较大，二来对于阅卷老师来讲会觉得啰嗦，不能在规定的范围内完成思想的表达;三则会导致卷面留出来的写作空间不够大家发挥就更加麻烦了。那么常规来看，写三段，这就要求大家做到能量化在每一段能够写的字数范围大概在多少字。比如，如果是图画描述，最好能控制在50字左右，从句子的量化来看，差不到3-4句话，有长有短，可以保证在有限的字数之内规定应该能完成的任务要求。而对于最后的段落则是弹性相对比较大的，可根据前文的结构和字数来调整最后一段到底写多少是合适的，如果前文篇幅较长，后文则简单收尾，不必太细化。但是，如果前文相对内容有欠缺，字数太少，则可根据最后一段做弥补。
三、突击大作文第二段
从重要性来讲，还是从字数来讲都是考生最为关注的一段。也是用所谓的“模板”最少的一段，那么如果想做到有话可讲，则要尽可能细的列提纲，(考场上时间是不允许的)。所以在接下来不到一个月的复习过程当中，要尽量做到每写一篇大作文都要打草稿细化第二段的内容，做到结构合理，内容不重复，然后再在前期积累的基础上做到字词句的丰富化和多样化，最后又有亮点的体现，以保证作文能够在最后有一个很大的提升，争取取得比较满意的成绩!

as a planet, we’re dealing with a finite amount of natural resources. once they"re gone, they can"t be replaced. they can"t fill our need for oil and gasoline forever. but we seem to forget that and consume them at an incredible rate. in wealthier counties, some families have two or three cars. as soon as teenagers get their driver"s licenses, they’re given cars so their parents won"t have to drive them places.
public transportation hasn"t been sufficiently developed. because of this, suburban areas surrounding cities have been allowed to sprawl more and more widely. this means that people can"t even go to the store without having to hop into the car. everything is too far away from where they live. if there were better and more frequent public transportation, people would be able to give up their cars for local driving.
as a result of all the cars being driven, we’re dealing with terrible pollution problems. in big cities, there are days during the summer when the elderly and people with respiratory problems are advised not to leave the house. ten years ago this was unheard of! now it"s the norm. public transportation would cut down considerably on air pollution.
public transportation also encourages a sense of community. people who travel to work together all the time get to know each other. car isolate us from neighbors. however, people feel they need to drive because they can"t depend on public transportation to fit their schedules. if more money were available, buses, subways and trains could run 24 hours a day. then they would be available all the time to the people who need them.
i always try to take public transportation whenever possible, and i encourage friends and neighbors to try it too. i think we must support public transportation in order to create a better world.

if i could change one thing about my hometown, i think it would be the fact that there"s no sense of community here. people don"t feel connected, they don"t look out for each other, and they don"t get to know their neighbors.
people come and go a lot here. they change jobs frequently and move on. this means that they don"t put down roots in the community. they don"t join community organizations and they"re not willing to get involved in trying to improve the quality of life. if someone has a petition to put in a new street light, she has a very hard time getting a lot of people to sign. they don"t feel it has anything to do with them. they don"t get involved in improving the schools because they don"t think the quality of education is important to their lives. they don"t see the connection between themselves and the rest of their community.
people don"t try to support others around them. they don"t keep a friendly eyes on their children, or check in on older folks if they don"t see them for a few days. they"re not aware when people around them may be going through a hard time. for example, they may not know if a neighbor loses a loved one. there"s not a lot of community support for individuals.
neighbors don"t get to know each other. again, this is because people come and go within a few years. so when neighbors go on vacation, no one is keeping an eye on their house. no one is making sure nothing suspicious is going on there, like lights in the middle of the night. when neighbors" children are cutting across someone"s lawn on their bikes, there"s no friendly way of casually mentioning the problem. people immediately act as if it"s a major property disagreement.
my hometown is a nice place to live in many ways, but it would be much nice if we had that sense of community.
